Hello, i was wondering if anyone can help me. I had been watching EWTN Daily Mass for years now and i remember watching this priest back then (earlier 90’s) and i have not seen him for many years now. Does anyone know his name and any info. I have attached a picture during one of his homily. Thanks in advance.!

Thanks for your reply. I do not think so but here’s the only video i found of this priest.

You might try asking the Franciscan Friars of the Renewal, the order that was heavily involved with appearing on EWTN. They have a Facebook page. I’m betting he was a member of their group.

My first thought was former Fr. Francis Mary Stone as well.

This priest could have just been a visiting celebrant. They have quite a few of those who say mass.

Sorry, my mistake. You are correct that it’s the Franciscan Missionaries of the Eternal Word who are involved with EWTN. They too have a Facebook page and I also looked at that Franciscan Missionaries of the Eternal Word web page earlier and didn’t see a guy who looked like that priest, or any “historical” photos. I think I then got too many windows open while doing Google image search and referenced the wrong one.

I emailed EWTN regarding this matter and their reply was “He is no longer in our friary community and no further info is available.” She didn’t even give me his name. I know he was there for a year or so saying homilies.

Doesn’t sound like a good outcome for this priest.
I know they had several prominent TV priests who unfortunately got into trouble in their personal lives. Maybe he was one of them. Or maybe he just left to go do something else.

I will pray for him.

Every religious order has some people who have left. Some men may leave to become diocesan priests, some leave the priesthood. Don’t expect the religious order to release any personal information. We can only hope and pray for the best for them.
