Is there any way to get EWTN on tv without having to purchase a cable package? The only thing I like to watch on the tube is EWTN so everything else is a total waste!

Thanks 🙂

Well, you could move to Minneapolis or one of the few other cities that have broadcast Catholic television. It is channel 19 here. đź‘Ť

Dear friend

View it on the internet that is what I do.

God Bless you and much love and peace to you

I think you could get a BUD and watch it, but that’s not a very practical approach.

At one time DISH network allowed a customer to purchase a single channel. I have a mother-in-law that paid $12 a month for EWTN alone. You might call them and see if this is still available.

If the concern is the $$ spent, you’ll probably have to try to use the internet. If the concern is all the junk on cable, some cable/satellite systems allow you to put a lock on channels. You may also want to check out SkyAngel (if they are still in business) – they distribute Christian-only programming.

Get a TV card for your PC and watch it from the internet high speed feed.

God Bless

I have read that EWTN is Free to Air off the satellite. I do not know if this is the intention of EWTN or not. However, with the purchase of a $300 sat receiver and then programming it for the channell you want you can receive EWTN. I have not done this but I do know it exists. I have not contracted EWTN to see if they are aware of this and/or OK with it.
