exBIL given last rites today, not expected to recover

Please pray for my ex BIL Joseph. He has had emphysema for several years and two days ago he was admitted to the hospital and put in ICU. He was annointed today and he is not expected to live more than 24 hours.

I called his mom today and she was in tears. He is the only son still living at home and taking care of his mom.

May our Lord ease his pain and take him up to himself soon. Please pray for his soul and the family he leaves behind.
 
Will be keeping Joseph in daily prayer that his sufferings will be minimal and that The Lord will take him home without undue suffering…and praying for all around him at this very sad time, especially his mother…Barb
 
Most Merciful Jesus, I pray that,
by the agony of your Sacred Heart
and by the sorrows of your Immaculate
Mother, you be with Joseph who is in his last
suffering and will die soon. Heart of Jesus,
once in agony, have mercy on the dying.
AMEN
 
Thank you all so much!!! I worry that his mom will give up when she loses this son… She has buried a husband, daughter, and another son so far. God love her, she is the sweetest woman.

Overwhelmingly tragic and will be keeping her in prayer with Our Lady of Perpetual Help…
 
Still praying for him and his family, especially his mother. Poor woman.

Joseph died yesterday and while his mother and sister are grieving deeply, I can’t help but feel happy that he is finally out of pain. He had emphysema and was in a great deal of pain for the past year.
