Excellent - especially for the last days of Advent!

Dear Brothers and Sisters,

I want to encourage all to read the latest entry on my husband’s blog. It really is an excellent message for these last days of Advent, so I hope you’ll take time to read it before Christmas. It is not long to read but it will last long, hopefully, and by God’s Grace, in the hearts of all who read and ponder it. Please feel free to reply with a comment on the blog itself, or on this thread. Thanks, and blessings on these final days before He comes, through Mary.

Very inspiring post. Along with improving ourselves, interior prayer should help us to grow together. I’m sure God wants us to find His will, and sometimes we have differing opinions of what that is. It seems if we seek Him inside ourselves and share that with others, we might come to more understanding of what He wants and then possibly how we could work together. I’d like to be optimistic about that anyway 🙂 .

Ah, yes, hazcompat – let us listen as Mary listened and kept all in her heart. Even before she saw His Face in Bethlehem, she pondered the Word of God within.

So good to hear from you again, dear womanatwell!

Truly God desires us to seek Him with all our hearts, even as the wise men sought and found him with His Mother. Mary opened her heart to receive Him and kept all He said and did in her heart. She is our Mother and Model. If we humbly place ourselves in His Divine Providence, He will continually show us the Way, the Truth and the Life Who is Jesus – even as He did for Mary. Like Mary, we too by God’s Grace, can go “with haste” to share Him with others.

The theological virtue of hope is even more than “optimism” – it is a joyful expectation. We know by faith that nothing is impossible with God. Mary’s heart loves with His Love as the Church is called to do. Speaking the Truth lovingly, we are to build up one another in love. (Ephesians 4). The more we prayerfully listen to God’s Word the more the Holy Spirit reveals to us. We have Jesus words (cf Jn 16:13) to encourage us: Th Spirit will bring us into the complete Truth.

The Indwelling Trinity is a Gift given at Baptism yet how few appreciate the treasure within.

Dear Amiciel,

Thanks for your reply. Yes, may God help all of us to seek first His Kingdom and His righteousness as Jesus taught us, (Mt. 6:33). Our Mother Mary is sorely neglected by many in our day, but let us redouble our efforts to love her and with her to love God more.

Blessings to you also at this beautiful time of His Coming – at Christmas – and whenever He comes again, through Mary.
