Hey all!

I just wanted to post this somewhere and hopefully this is the right spot.

I’m in RCIA at my local parish and will be confirmed at Easter.

Sunday we had our Rite of Election and Call to Continuing Conversion at the Cathedral of our Diocese (Memphis). It was wonderful! I read on the Diocese website and heard from several others that there are between 350-400 individuals coming into the Church in our Diocese. Most are college aged to late 20s. I just thought that that was a wonderful number of people who have found the truth in a world where it can be so hard to find it. I just wanted to share it with you all!! 😃

Congratulations! My husband went through it too this Sunday in St. Petersbutg Florida. It was pretty amazing. About 1000 people went through.

Congratulations! I am on the RCIA Team for my parish and to read your enthusiasm about coming ‘Home to Rome’ put a big smile on my face.

Thanks. I just wanted to express how happy I am about RCIA and the whole process. Sometimes I read posts and it seems to be all bad so I just wanted to express my joy of being a candidate! 😃

Hello and Welcome Home!!!

I too am on the RCIA team at our parish and this is a wonderful time of year. I love sharing my faith with others and watching them grow closer to Christ. As always, I pray for all who are entering the Church. Now I pray for you too!

God bless you,

Kelly

Hi Angel Rose and Welcome Home!!! I am very happy for you!

I found the Rite of Election which like you I had on Sunday very moving - I was shaking actually. God has been really speaking to me thru this period, although there has been periods when I’ve been struggling with issues.

AngelRose,

I was in your shoes this time last year. It was one of the most exciting times of my life, if not the most exciting. I loved going to class and hated to see 9pm arrive and we’d have to go home. There’s so much to learn and so little time.

Welcome Home!

BTW, I’m still paying for all the books I bought about Catholicism.😉
