Well, either you at least told your child the truth, right? or I guess at least you are confessing to us that you lied to your kid. (Catholics do believe that confession is absolution for their soul, correct? so I guess you are (not sure if the following is a correct term or not) absolved).
Hi

I think this is not good for the children, in my opinion, in many ways. Jesus and Mary never believed in any thing like Santa Clause, in my opinion.

My Catholic friends don’t have to believe in what I write here; I am just a man in the street, doing research for truth for my own salvation. If it is injurious to you faith and is not truth; you are under no compulsion to believe it, in my opinion.

I love Jesus and Mary as mentioned in Quran.

Thanks

No, you’re not.

You’re on this forum to spread your lies and blasphemy.

Truth is told you, and you do not accept it.

Your research should have shown you that Santa Claus (note the proper spelling) is a mythical form of the holy bishop of Myra, St. Nicholas of Myra, whose feast day is 6 December.

He was venerated as the patron of children by Dutch, Germans, and north Europeans generally, and got assimilated into another mythic figure, Father Christmas of the English.

Well said Cluny. I have an Icon of Saint Nicholas and my Godchild is named after him.

Paarsurrey you amaze me. You come to another religions forum and insult them day after day after day with no remorse. Your not here to learn because you been here to long. So stop calling yourself a peaceful whatever because your not. You my not be physically violent but your verbally abusive and that may be even worse. The sad part is your allowed to continue this! 😦
