Hello! I’m doing a presentation for one of my classes about the Coptic Catholic Church in America, and was hoping that I could get some (name removed by moderator)ut from any US Coptic Catholics on this board about what their experiences have been like.

How active do you feel members of your parish are?

What, if any, Latinization has occured?

What is the relation between the Coptic Catholic Church in the US and the Coptic Catholic Church in Egypt? Do communities in the US try to keep in close contact or is the relationship purely heirarchical?

Do you have any issues with maintaining a distinct identity in the face of Americanization?

What other problems does the Church in the US face?

Thanks!😃

Hopefully someone from one of these parishes will see your question:
  • St. Mary Coptic Catholic Church (Los Angeles, CA)
  • Resurrection Coptic Catholic Chapel (Brooklyn, NY)
  • Coptic Catholic Community of Nashville (Nashville, TN)
  • Coptic Catholic Community of Boston (Boston, MA)
