Anyone here have experience with the Chaplet of St. Michael? How long have you been saying it? Daily? Has it been very powerful for you or has St. Michael interceded for you?
Thanks, God Bless.

I pray the Chaplet of St. Michael daily, as I have been attacked by demons on a regular basis since the beginning of the year. (Not sure what brought this on - I have an idea, but I’m not certain.) It has helped greatly. In any case, the attacks are fewer and farther between as long as I keep this up as a daily practice.

I don’t actually remember when I started praying the chaplet, only that it was before the attacks began. I shudder to think how much worse these attacks would have been if I hadn’t already been praying the chaplet before they started.

I do like saying it. Although I wish there was more to learn about these different choirs of angels though

Just heard of this chaplet for the first time now. Think I’ll take it up on a daily basis, (my mother might like this chaplet, she has a wonderful statue of St. Michael in her sitting room)
Lovely promises attached:

“St. Michael promised that whoever would practice this devotion in his honor would have, when approaching Holy Communion, an escort of nine angels chosen from each of the nine Choirs. In addition, for those who would recite the Chaplet daily, he promised his continual assistance and that of all the holy angels during life.”

I pray a LOT each night, but occasionally, due to what I am dealing with, I am so worn out that I can’t get through all of my nightly regimen. The Saint Micheal Chaplet, the Hedge Prayer, and the Way of the Cross are three prayers which I never fail to say.

One night, I was so tired, I thought about skipping the Saint Michael Chaplet. I closed my eyes for a moment, and saw myself surrounded by a multitude of angels. Each one was armed, and wearing armor. I believe I caught a glimpse of what daily recital of this Chaplet can provide for us in terms of protection.

That sounds amazing. I must admit to being spiritually lazy. I rarely pray (formal prayer or otherwise). I have, for the past two weeks (because of being up until 4-5am due to work) missed Mass…I need to buck up and get straight. Maybe this St. Michael chaplet and his assistance will help get this demon of laziness off my shoulder.

I have been praying this every night for a few days and I can already tell that is having an effect on keeping evil away. 🙂

Now lately i have been feeling a stronger and stronger devotion growing for me to Our Blessed Mother and St. Michael. Now the most obvious sign of devotion to BVM is the Rosary. And, apparently, the St. Michael chaplet is an excellent prayer for devotion to that Archangel. I intend, I think, to pray one in the morning and one in the evening. The question is–which when?

I can’t answer that for you, but if it helps, I tend to pray the Chaplet of St. Michael in the morning. Demons often attack me as soon as I wake up so I need to fight them off as quickly as possible. :knight2:

I pray the rosary in the evening, for no other reason than that most of the year I go to adoration once a week in the evening and my priest and I often pray the rosary together at that time. Keeping my prayer schedule the same every day is helpful to me, and I can’t move the time adoration takes place, so…:getholy:

I pray the Saint Michael every morning after my first Rosary.

That is the idea that I had about praying the St. Michael chaplet in the morning as well–about keeping demons away throughout the day. That is likely what I’ll do.

I’m up pretty late at night, so I’ve been praying it before bedtime. Someone to watch over me and my family. 🙂

I can relate. The industry I work in has extremely variable hours. So, sometimes, I’m up late (like right now). Other times, I have to be at work at 7am…crazy sometimes.

The St. Michael chaplet is incredibly powerful! I would recommend it to anyone seeking protection against evil or liberation from demonic oppression.

For over 20 years, I have struggled with a pornography addiction. The addiction began when I was very young and eventually became a part of my daily routine. It has placed a terrible strain on my marriage (not to mention my soul). I tried many strategies to end it (counseling and psychotherapy, accountability software, confession, prayer, etc.). None of these worked for longer than a few weeks at a time, and they worked only with great mental and spiritual exertion on my part.

Without going into all the details, I had a kind of revelation about 5 months ago, and Our Lady directed me toward this chaplet. I began saying a few times a week. Almost immediately, the temptation weakened. I added a blessed St. Michael scapular and am now praying the Angelic Crown almost daily, and I am amazed at the transformation. This horrible temptation that has plagued me since childhood is essentially gone.

I don’t want to commit a sin of pride, nor do I want to underestimate the persistence of the Enemy–I know that I WILL be tempted again. However, I now know that I have the great Prince of the Church, St. Michael, in my corner. That is a very comforting thought! I believe that God has delivered me from a demonic oppression through the intercession of St Michael.
