It is only through God that we are blessed with them (ok not always blessed especially if they are teens )

Reading just the title of the article, I thought this was not right.

However reading the article, I saw “by any method” and I agree. If it goes against natural law (i.e. invitro), it is wrong.

IMHO many Americans seem to think they have “rights” to many things the are actually privileges. A child is a gift from GOD and a privilege to be gifted by GOD with one child or many children.

I can understand the desire for children. But, it just might not be GOD’s will for some to have children. GOD just might have other ideas on what these couples need and what their “job” in this life is.

And the real tragedy is that these priviledges are muddled with rights.

From my understanding of Catholic Church teachings I have come to these conclusions.

These **are not **exhaustive lists.

All people have a right

• To life, from conception to natural end.
• To dignity, on the job, from neighbors, and government
• To freedom of conscience.
• To own personal property.
• To freedom of worship.
• To self-defense and the defense of their family

People do not have a right

• To harm others, particularly innocent people.
• To kill at will.
• To vote (but it is a good thing!)
• To commit immoral acts (defined by me as any grave sin.)
• To drive a car
• To have a child.
