I have a very important question. See the letters written by St Paul to different churches like Ephesus, Galatia, Thesselonica etc… I have seen that churches in all these places are no more. There may not be even one church in these places not even christians. All these happened in 5th or 6th centuries. Also I see that Middle east is the actual center of Christianity. I even read that Mecca was full of Christians before Muhammed’s arrival. Now if we look at middle east most of the people are muslims. Christians are few in number.
My question is should it happen to a church whose leader is son of God itself. Why such events happened. The people in those places were more religious, attending masses, leading a good and moral life. Then why it happened? If we consider Europe or America, most of the people I see are not practicing christianity. Immoral life, sexual pleasure oriented life etc… are the features of Europeans who are now the leaders of Christianity. They are in a good economic condiition also.
But those people who practiced a good Christian life are no more. A lot of massacres occurred in the middle east. Why did happen. What explanation can a person who leads life with God can give to me?

If you meditate on the beatitutde “Blessed are you when they condemn you and persecute you and make ever false claim against you, for your reward will be great in Heaven”, you’ll get your answer

You are incorrect.

A friend of mine has a brother who is an Orthodox priest. He at one time was the pastor of the Church St. Paul founded in Thessalonica.

The Seven Churches of Asia Minor were functioning Orthodox Churches until 1922, when a population exchange arranged by the League of Nations forced the Christians out of Asia Minor and into Greece.
