Lots of great news coming out of New Mexico! Not only did the Episcopal Church Bishop convert, Archbishop Sheehan has regularized an independent chapel. He put this in his pastoral letter, rather then doing it but just not saying anything, so now most people will at least be aware that the EF is available. Also, instead of replacing the former “indult” mass, that mass will continue so there will be two locations.
My question relates to a possible third EF Mass in Rio Rancho. One of the lists of EF Masses indicates there is one at 2PM at St. Thomas Aquinas Church in Rio Rancho NM at 2 pm on Sundays. Nothing was mentioned about this on that parish’s website, or in the Archbishop’s letter, but I know that doesn’t necessarily mean there isn’t one there. Does anyone know? Also, does anyone know which Parishes in Albuquerque and Santa Fe offer the most reverent Ordinary Form Masses?
Thanks for your help!
