Looks interesting. I think James Blish was still an atheist when he wrote this (converted to Anglican later).

I’d also recommend Voyage to Alpha Centauri by Michael D. O’Brien (Catholic).

Infinite universe theory is employed within Abiogenisis theories
as a means to overcome the maths of mutation statistics…
showing how the probabilities of materialistic evolution of Life from Non-Life
which based upon pure CHANCE as applied to One Universe
  • approaches ZERO…
That’s massively subjective way of looking at it.

That’s not why multi universe theory exists.
it’s based on particles disappearing and reappearing since matter cannot be destroyed or created obviously it’s going somewhere. that’s what started the general calculation that the possibility to do these particles are phasing into other universes.

I don’t see why there couldn’t be other intelligent created beings in the universe…God is the creator of life…he created us out of his infinite love…so why not likely that he would create other beings out of that same infinite love…would they need a Savior…Jesus is the only Savior because he is also God the Son…all things were created through him…so to all other created beings he would still be their Savior because that’s what he is …God and Savior
