An increasing number of Marian organizations sprouted the past few years with various claims for Mary and differing nature of devotions. Some as monotonous as end-time warnings and prophecy, while others as extreme as one so called MARY-IS-GOD CATHOLIC MOVEMENT( http://www.maryisgod.org ).

Hmmm… this is a short press release from someone named Natasha Kimudo. But it doesn’t say anything about her or what organization (if any) she is affiliated with.

Heck a Google search on her name turns up nothing. Very curious.

I don’t think I would characterize this particular movement as Catholic or even Christian.

Whether they are aware of it or not, they have actually become Pagans. In other words they were Marian devotional groups who at one time may have been Catholic, but have since abandoned or were never rooted/catechized in Catholic orthodoxy or true Mariology.
