Im 50 yrs old and at this time of your life facial hair does become a bit thicker and unsightly in my opinion…im going to get laser treatment which isnt that expensive on your face as its a small area…and the hair is removed permanently…maybe occasional return sometimes for the odd stubborn hair! I think its just nice grooming and normal to want to be smart as a woman.

I’m usually a do-it-yourself kind of person, so my opinion is that if you can do an adequate job of managing the facial hair yourself, I’d go with that option. If this doesn’t work for you there is nothing wrong with spending the money to get it done elsewhere.

The same thing could be said about shampoo, deodorant and anything other than basic plain soap.
Except it’s just removing facial hair, something that can be removed without spending so much money.

And hair can be kept clean with basic soap. And no one really *needs *deodorant.

And have you seen the cost of hair cuts? Just let it grow. Or cut it at home.

OP, there is nothing wrong with spending money on personal grooming. If you are spending so much that you can’t afford food, or you are ignoring your other obligations, then there is a problem. Otherwise, you are fine.
