Failure or Success?

as Saviour of the world and all mankind did Jesus fail badly, or is mankind in the main too depraved to be saved,for He declared “I have come not to judge the world but to save it”.and yet He foretold that most of mankind would finish up in hell - some have reckoned only appx 4% will be saved - what do you reckon and why - twinc
 
Being saved allows the faithful an opportunity to enter the Kingdom of Heaven.
Prior to Jesus and his sacrifice, everyone who died waited in hell for the gates to open (the righteous were separated from the wicked though). They were cut off from God.

Jesus came to redeem mankind, not to take our free will. we are free to accept or reject God.

so are you saying He redeemed the world but did not save it so He is redeemer and not saviour - twinc
