I’m just wondering what other parishes are doing as a faith-based organization to assist their parishioners that are in public schools. The school my children attend has a large Hispanic population with farmworker parents who want to help their children succeed. They are predominantly Catholic families so I’m just looking for ideas to tie the two together so that these English-learners can succeed even with the strict guidelines of the No Child Left Behind legislation (i.e. tutoring centers). Thank you in advance for your help.
