I caught only a little bit of that show, myself. Had to change the channel before I saw much of it… I was quite impressed with the calmness and gentleness (i.e., “charity”) that everyone was exhibiting in voice’s tone and pitch and volume… especially, though, when I finally caught on that it was a discussion about differences of matters of faith among Christians, I noticed that the text on the screen that said “Roman Catholic - apologist” showing under the person who was the person doing all the answering yet not any of the questioning was that of a very, VERY well-spoken and very knowledgeable Roman Catholic.
Not that the non-Catholics on the show were any less well-spoken… it was just as someone who knows their Faith (me), it was clear to me that the non-Catholics didn’t have a clue what “prayer” means… that it does not mean “worship.”
The Roman Catholic clearly knew THEIR Catholic Faith. He was holding his own quite well… calm and sure and “charitable” as the others.
Too bad I had to change channels about then. Wish I’d been able to see the rest of it… and wondered whether anybody else had seen it, too.
Thanks for posting htis question!
