Hello friends,
I ask you to keep me in your prayers that I may fall in love with God again. I feel ashamed to say that I almost feel as if I have lost the feeling of awe towards our Lord. I used to go to prayer and mass and feel this very deep connection with our Lord and now I feel a lot of emptiness. I used to believe without a doubt that our Lord is truly present in the Holy Eucharist, and now I battle with doubts (even though I know Jesus says it IS His body). I would greatly appreciate if you could keep me in your prayers and even possibly offer some advice to help me.
Thank you all so much and may God bless you all!

Praying for you. Feelings come and go. God allows us to experience dryness at times so that we will choose to love him not based on feelings. If we are not willing suffer for the beloved then we don’t really love him. The important thing is to pray anyways, despite our lack of feeling or we won’t progress spiritually.

I pray that the Lord revives your faith. Amen.

Try to read the scriptures on a regular basis. It will increase your faith and will bring you into a closer relationship with God.

Hail Mary,
Full of Grace,
The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit
of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of our death.

Amen.

O Blood and Water, which gushed forth from the Heart of Jesus as a fountain of Mercy for us, I trust in You!

Our Father, Who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name; Thy kingdom come; Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil, Amen.

Eternal Father, I offer you the Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity of Your Dearly Beloved Son, Our Lord, Jesus Christ, in atonement for our sins and those of the whole world.

For the sake of His sorrowful Passion, have mercy on us and on the whole world. x10

Holy God, Holy Mighty One, Holy Immortal One, have mercy on us and on the whole world.

Praying for you! Yes, I know the feeling. When your heart is not “on fire” like it was when you first were confirmed or baptized, or in my case when you first fell in love with our Lord.

I don’t know if this helps but a dear friend of mine once told me that being around the Eucharist is still good for you even if you don’t “feel anything.”
