Waterhorse
Secret of Roan Inish (LOVE that movie)
Gone With the Wind
How to train a dragon
Rango
True Grit (the remake)
probably a zillion others that I will remember after I post this! 😃
I know it’s not a movie but we love the old Dick Van **** show.

Just as a random addition - Zookeeper is supposed to be a family movie but I actually couldn’t stand to watch it more than 15 minutes. A lot of the dialogue just in that time had a lot of allusion to animal sexuality, the humor wasn’t that great, and the acting was just kind of strange…

  • Willow
  • Quo Vadis, 1951 film (NOT the 2001 Romanian version which has too much nudity and sexual content)
  • The Lord of the Rings Trilogy
  • The Pirates of the Caribbean (Especially the first: Dead man’s chest, is it?)
  • If you have little girls, many of the Barbie fairy tales are really good: (Rapunzel, Twelve dancing Princesses, The Princess and the Pauper, Swan Lake) A perfect Christmas is good too, though not a fairy-tale themed film.
  • Tangled, as mentioned, and most Disney Cartoons.
  • The Polar Express
  • Up
  • Journey to the Center of the Earth
  • The Return of the Jedi (Star wars)
  • Ben Hur
  • Sister Act
  • Spider man
  • King Kong (Both new and old versions) - This is IF your kids are not too little. The new version has some scary scenes with some huge bugs eating the people and that tribe also looked scary near the beginning. If your kids are in their teens, it’s OK. Godzilla too.

Didn’t like it either.

Sister Act, Sister Act II, and the classics:

Ben Hur
The Ten Commandments
(both of the above good for the Easter season)
and
Song for Bernadette

They just don’t make them like that anymore!
