Family Vacation - Cozumel

My family of 5 is planning a cruise this fall. During this trip, we will happen to be in Cozumel, Mexico on Sunday. Does anyone recommend a local Catholic Church to visit while in Cozumel. I’ve found a couple of churches near the port via internet search (St Michael The Archangel, and Corpus Christi), but I’m wondering if any of these may have a bi-lingual mass. I’m also curious of what my family should expect when visiting a local parish in this area, and how it might be different from a mass in the U.S. We want to be respectful to the local parishioners, too. So if this is a bad idea (we’ll likely be in vacation attire), please let me know.

It’s been years since I’ve been to Mexico, and I’ve never been to Cozumel. But my guess would be that the liturgy of the mass should be the same worldwide (only it’s in Spanish, unless you can find a bilingual one). Perhaps your hotel could recommend one that other tourists attend, San Miguel church on Avenida Benito Juarez seems popular with tourists, according to Google.
I would recommend that your womenfolk wear skirts, to the knee at least. I would not recommend wearing shorts, despite the possible heat,

I would make sure you check with the State Department travel advisories for Mexico. Last winter they advised everyone to stay in a group.
 
I had plan to do this with my daughter while on a cruise to the Bahamas a year ago. The Catholic Church was only a couple of blocks away from the port, however the road it was on looked a little sketchy and there were no other tourists. I have read warnings about staying with the crowds in ports. Good luck and enjoy your time away with family.
 
You are not the first Catholics to travel on that cruise line. Call the Cruise company and ask them about Sunday Mass.
 
The mass the same as here, except in Spanish. I doubt you will find a bilingual mass. A little more chaotic gong to communion than here.
