Pax Christi.

Tomorrow, Friday 1/16, I will fast for all alcoholics. May they accept God’s grace and turn their lives around.

If you wish to join me in this fast, or support me with your prayers, thank you.

God bless.

Dear svid2~

:blessyou:

Our Father, Who art in heaven,
Hallowed be Thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come.
Thy Will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.

Amen.

Hail Mary,
Full of Grace,
The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the Fruit
of thy womb, Jesus.

Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of death.

Amen. † :signofcross:

Gracious and merciful Father, please come to their assistance.

Our Father, who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on Earth as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.
Blessed are thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death.
Amen.

Glory Be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit.
As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end.
Amen.

Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do you, O’ Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into Hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.

Amen.

What a wonderful idea and I will support your in prayer for this intention.

Prayer for Fasting

Father, today I decide to fast. In doing so, I do not despise Your creatures, I do not renounce them, I only want to discover their value. I decide for fasting because Your prophets used to fast because Jesus Christ fasted and so did His apostles and disciples. I especially decide for fasting because Your servant, Mother Mary, fasted, too. She called me to fast when she said: “Dear Children: Today, I invite you to start fasting with the heart.” Help me to bear with my hunger as I offer this penance for my soul and others. Amen.

Praying for the original poster’s fasting and intentions:
Hail Mary, full of grace the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death. Amen.
