Dear Friends,
On Fathers Day, please remember these special Fathers - the priests who are in prison or labor camps in China, because they dare to celebrate Mass, dare to preach the Gospel of Jesus.
Perhaps you could do something in your parish on Fathers Day for these priests? Like put a flyer in the bulletin, or just a little paragraph in the bulletin asking for prayers.
China is hosting the next Olympics in 2008. This is a chance for us in the West to pressure China for religious freedom.
Please don’t allow the priests in prison to become ‘the Forgotten Fathers’ !
