Very orthodox. A good friend of mine, who used to attend Holy Hour with us, is now one of their members, and has been chaplain to a couple of convents.

HTH.

Blessings,
Cloisters

I’ve attended several of their weekend parish missions. They are 100% orthodox.

If you think you may a vocation, please explore it with these holy men of God! 👍

I am discerning a vocation, and spent a weekend with the Fathers of Mercy last month at their Generalate in South Union, KY. They are a wonderful group of men. As Fr. Casey, their Superior General, told me while I was there, “We’re with the Holy Father, right down the line.” They have a strong relationship with Mother Angelica and EWTN. Fr. Casey’s missions are often broadcast, and Fr. Wade Menezes (their vocations director) has a series of short talks that air in-between programs called “Crux of the Matter.”

I highly recommend you give them a serious look.

I am familiar with the Fathers of Mercy in South Union, KY, and they are a very good, solid order. We have hosted them in our parish for a mission and Fr. Casey was excellent.

I am not exploring a priestly vocation.

But my avocation is to promote knowledge and disseminate info on all the great, growing, orthodox solid orders and communities out there so-as to possibly help promote some vocations!

They were on EWTN Live tonight! Quite a story: the order was down to 5 or 6 Priests in the 1980s and have since grown to 36 members.

I am sorry I missed that!

My hope would be that this same thing happens for MANY orders that were once glorious but now in serious (and some believe irrevocable decline on the way to extinction).

Sometimes you MUST return to a faithful remnant before growth begins again!
