No, it is a theological impossibility for any mere mortal to accurately predict the advent of the Eschaton, for “
concerning that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father only” (Matthew 24:36).
If anyone tells you the world is about to end, please respectfully “tell them where to go”
The OP was not predicting the “end times,” I should note, by his own admission. We should always have our “lamps lit,” for in a doctrinal sense there is no difference to be drawn between the personal judgement we shall face upon our death and the warnings about the end of the age. No matter when the world ends, our world will certainly end at some point - and we will face our own individual judgement before God.
As it is, Pope St. John Paul II clearly stated during his Magisterium that our century would not be the last within temporal history, prior to the end of time. For in his apostolic letter on the Millenium,
Tertio Millenio Adveniente in 1994 we find the following:
“… The future of the world and the Church belongs to the younger generation, to those who, born in this century, will reach maturity in the next, the first century of the new millennium. Christ expects great things…If they succeed in following the road which he points out to them, they will have the joy of making their own contribution to his presence in the next century and in the centuries to come, until the end of time: “Jesus is the same yesterday, today and for ever”…”
Notice the operative wording “in the next century and in the centuries to come”.
The full “times of the Gentiles” are not yet fulfilled; “all Israel” has not as we speak converted to Faith in Christ; an “era of peace and security” before the advent of Antichrist has not thus far been vouchsafed to humanity and the Final Persecution of Antichrist is presently nowhere in sight, praise be to God.
Chill, we have a long stretch ahead of us yet as a species - but alas, the same cannot be said for anyone in the individual sense. That will certainly arrive sooner and we don’t have the crystal ball to foresee the timing of this either
