Does anyone have any favorite blogs they visit a lot?

My favorites are Mark Shea’s, Fr. Bryce Sibley’s, and Secret Agent Man’s.

I’m just waiting for Mark Shea to come back. This is worse than when he gave up blogging for Lent!

Blog is short for weblog. It’s just a webpage where someone posts his thoughts or opinions about anything that he finds interesting. The three I posted are run by Catholics, but there are thousands of other blogs out there. Dictionary.com defines a blog like this:

a personal Web site that provides updated headlines and news articles of other sites that are of interest to the user, also may include journal entries, commentaries and recommendations compiled by the user

You should look at some of them. They’re pretty interesting!

This is the blog for World Magazine. Its a conservative right wing evangelical leaning magazine. They are not anti-Catholic as such (they have a link to a Catholic pro-life site) although once in a while an anti-catholic poster will show up to make comments. There are some Catholics who post there who are more than happy to set them straight. but it doesn’t happen all that often.

Speaking of which, I remembered another great blog: The Curt Jester. Some of his entries are works of genius, especially Medical Breakthrough and New Rosary Mysteries.
