Jesse Manibusan –
not just because I’ve known him since 1985 when he played music at the retreats that I used to go to and sometimes at local churches… and he sang the music for us at our wedding…
since then, he’s broken into doing music for the Lord professionally… he’s got a very full schedule going around the nation…
he was also at the most recent World Youth Day, which I was watching on EWTN tv… and I about flipped when I saw him on the stage behind the Pope singing with others the last song right before the Pope was to leave!!
He’s got a lot of CD’s out there… some he sells from his own Website
www.jessemanibusan.com
Oregon Catholic Press sells some, too. You can get these in CD or audio tape.

Another Day is also on his CD –
Power of Peace
His song
Eleison is done in Caribbean style. As is the** Keep Me Safe ** song.

If you are in Bamburg, Germany… you’ll be able to attend one of his concerts from Sept.4 to Sept.5 this year at the Holy Family church at the Air Base in Bamburg, Germany.
He was in Boston, MA on Aug.9, 2003. See a picture of him performing here… and the write up of the event – a Catholic music festival.

Here’s a snip from that write-up:
**
Brittany Almeida, a 15 year-old parishioner from All Saints Parish in Woonsocket, R.I., wearing a shirt declaring “You are what you eat,” smiled and swayed to the music of Manibusan. Despite a broken ankle, Almeida was determined to experience the music festival. “This is awesome. I wouldn’t have missed this for anything,” she said.
For Manibusan, performing at such an event was nothing new. For the past 20 years, people around the world have been treated to his version of Christian rock. However, speaking to The Pilot, Manibusan marveled at the “unique intergenerational” nature of the festival. “This is not entirely a youth event, this is a people event,” he stated.**
