Okay you closet Def Leppard fans, time to stand up and be heard. I just picked up a copy of their Rock of Ages Definitive Collection cd and wanted to get opinions of your favorite Def Leppard song or songs of all time. Here are my top 5 (in no particular order):

1 Foolin’
2 Mirror Mirror (Look into My Eyes) ← go figure, huh?
3 Rocket
4 Bringing on the Heartbreak
5 Billy’s Got a Gun

Photograph
Bringing on the Heartbreak

Basically the first side of the Pyromania album

There are songs on Hysteria too that I like alot but am a little to emabaressed to mention do to the umm… hmm… content of the lyrics.:o

I was huge into Pyromania when it came out. But they’re not a band I listen to much if ever nowadays. I hear them occasionally on the radio or at the bar.

Rocket would have to be my fav.

All of them. Bar none. Althought as a guitarist I am particularly fond of Photograph, Rock of Ages, and Foolin’.

My first concert was Def Leppard/Billy Squier. My favorite DL song was Photograph. Still love that song. I must add that Loney Is the Night and Learn How to Live were my favorite Squier songs.

My favorite was the duet Def Leppard did with Tone-Loc. I think it was called Tone-Def.

My fave has to be Too late for love…there are others, but they are kind of innapropriate  :tsktsk: . Would you believe I am only 20?

“Hysteria” has got to be one of the best Def Leppard songs! Second favorite - “Pour Some Sugar On Me” 👍

I went to this concert in Cleveland, OHIO in 1982 (or was it '83?)

Sometimes when I’m driving alone, I play Billy Squier REALLY LOUD and instead of being a 38 year old Mom of 4… I’m magically transformed into a rockin’ 15 year old again!

Just a little sidebar…

If you listen to a Shania Twain song hard enough, you can find major hints of Def Leppard in them…

(her husband “Mutt” Lange wrote and produced many of their hits)…

👍
