I know all prayers are amazing, but does anyone have a preference of what their favorite prayer is? Mine is the Rosary. 🙏 I love saying the Rosary and praying to Our Blessed Mother and Jesus. What are everyone else’s favorite prayers? I’ve love to hear about them! ♥️

Oh yes, the Rosary for sure! I also really love saying the Immaculate Heart of Mary chaplet on my rosary beads, as well as the Divine Mercy chaplet. And The Jesus Prayer! đź’•

Eternal God, in whom mercy is endless, and the treasury of compassion inexhaustible,
look kindly upon us, and increase your mercy in us,
that in difficult moments, we might not despair nor become despondent,
but with great confidence, submit ourselves to your holy will,
which is love and Mercy itself.
Amen.

I pray the St. Michael Chaplet with assistance from my Kindle. Downloaded it from Amazon but have it on a CD to play in my car. Also it’s on Laudate under Prayers: Rosary and chaplets. The Divine Mercy Chaplet is there also sung as a melodic chant. It is so peaceful and reverent. Look for Song podcast courtesy Trish Short or find it on YouTube.

My favourite is:

I love you Jesus, my love above all things.
I repent with my whole heart for having offended you.
Never permit me to separate myself from you again.
Grant that I may love you always, and then do with me what you will.

from the Stations of the Cross.

A prayer at the 3 o'clock hour, let's offer something up to the Divine Mercy of Jesus Spirituality
I prayed 3 extra decades today For the sake of His sorrowful Passion, have mercy on @DKerchhoff (unemployed graduate), @Churchman25, the soul of your grandmother (may the Lord judge her mercifully), @drac16 (your arms), @sorrowful1 (debts), @frankiejen, loved one (conversion), @St.Bede, @aroosi and husband, @Minks and on the whole world. I did pray a decade of the divine mercy chaplet for each poster’s intention (during my 15:00 hour). God, Heavenly Father, I ask that Your Will may be do…

In addition to the rosary and D.M. chaplet which I pray everyday, I love the following prayer asking Mary for protection. Rather apt at this time I think.

We fly to Thy protection, O Holy Mother of God.
Do not despise our petitions in our necessities,
but deliver us always from all dangers,
O Glorious and Blessed Virgin.

Just thought of another prayer that I would like to share. The Sisters of Charity taught us to pray this when my class made our First Communion. (Thank you Sr. Cecilia!) My grandson who just turned 8 was supposed to make his First Communion later this month and my daughter informed me that it has been postponed. He will be my 3rd grandchild to do so and I have given this prayer to them all. Maybe some of you will remember My Little White Guest. It starts out with:
You have come to my heart, dearest Jesus, I am holding you close to my breast I am telling you over and over, You are welcome, O Little White Guest. I love You, I love You, my Jesus, O please do not think I am bold; Of course you must know that I love You, But I’m sure that You like to be told. I’ll whisper, “I love You, my Jesus” And ask that we never may part; I love You, O kind loving Jesus And press You still nearer my heart. And when I shall meet You in heaven, My soul then will lean on Your breast. And You will recall our fond meetings, When You were my Little White Guest. Amen

I love to pray the Rosary as well. I say it in English and Latin (I love a challenge). I also love the 9-day Novena Prayers to Pope St. John Paul II.

I am very fond of “Oh, Sacred Heart of Jesus, I put all my trust in thee” x 3.
I used to pray it after Mass without fail, with the intention that I would see Jesus in all the people I served that week, and that they would see Jesus loving them through me.

I say my rosary in French (except the Apostles Creed, because I can’t remember it), it’s a good way to practice another language.

I can’t remember the Apostles Creed or the Fatima (O My Jesus) Prayer in Latin either so your not alone. Yes, It is always a good way to practice another language.
