This is a companion thread to “Favorite TV characters,” but since the Simpsons is a whole world in and of itself, I thought I’d separate it out.

I LOVE Milhouse! He’s so pathetic and so cute with his giant nose and glasses. I loved the episode when he bought the comic books with the superhero who wears glasses. And doesn’t it seem that in real life, the “cool” person often has a dweeb for a best friend so that he can feel even “cooler?”

I also love Ned Flanders except that he drives me crazy! My brother in law looks and acts just like him.

And Professor John Frink! He’s great! I love the way he talks.

There are just so many good characters on that show! It’s so imaginative.
 
OTTO - there’s a palindrome I haven’t heard in a while.

and Principal Skinner. Before they decided he was really someone else.

and Jimbo Jones.

I think the Indian clerk guy’s name is Apoo. I like Sideshow Bob.
 
I like Marge.Some aspects of her personality remind her of me.🙂

There was an episode in which her family switched mothers with another family. She was so encouraging to the father of her new family, that he mistakenly thought she was in love with him.

I try so hard to be positive and encouraging to everyone, that I could almost see acting like she did.:o
 
Sideshow Bob, Herb (Homer’s Half brother), Smithers and Moleman.

Did you know the Simpsons will have their 400th. episode this Sunday!
 
My son’s screen name is… CarlCarlson! Since I come from Scotland GroundsKeeper Willie is mine!
 
I’ve been a Simpson’s Fan since day 1 and I will be a fan until the day I die. My wife and I named our daughter Maggie : Real Name - Mary Margret, but we wanted a little Maggie Simpson.

Anyway, Homer is my favorite. I love his way of thinking.

There are so many quotes from this man that I love…

Homer and Maggie have to be my favorites.

Speaking of Phil Hartman…

“This is the greatest case of false advertising I’ve seen since I sued the movie The Never Ending Story.”

“Mr. Simpson, don’t you worry. I watched Matlock in a bar last night. The sound wasn’t on, but I think I got the gist of it.”

"Mr. Simpson, I was just going through your garbage, and I couldn’t help overhearing that you need a babysitter. Of course, being a highly-skilled attorney, my fee is $175 an hour. "

“Aggghhh, Don’t touch my stuff! hey… this isn’t the YMCA!”
