wow…you guys on the “family life” forum are so nice…I’m usually on the apolgetics or politics forums, so I was unpreparred for the outpouring of kind responces to the Veggie Tales thread I started here yesterday…thanks

I, and some others on this site, were curious to know which Veggie Tales episode was your (uh I mean your kids’) favorite.

Forgive me if I failed to list yours (I am limited to seven choices and I just listed my, uh, I mean my kids’ favorite episodes), but write in on the thread if you have any good suggestions that I didn’t list on the poll.

Thanks and God bless…and long live Barbara Manatee—too funny!!!

I, I mean WE, love Jonah. You can’t go wrong with the Pirates who don’t do anything! But really, it’s hard to choose just one, they are all just great and so funny!

i’ve only see Josh and the Big Wall, and it was great!!! I want to see more!!

I picked the Pickle. But I don’t know that I have a favorite. In truth, I like the “Silly Songs” compilation the best.

Which one has Mr. Lunt singing the Cheeseburger song? That’s hilarious.

My favorite is actually Larry Boy and the Rumor Weed but since that wasn’t on the list I voted for the Balad of Little Joe; which is a close second for me

I am partial to the Silly Songs in general…Barbara Manatee being one of my favorites. Oh I forgot the Dance of the Cucumber!!!

The favorites at our house are “Rack, Shack and Benny” and “Tales from the Crisper” (this one was especially helpful when my FIL let my 5 year old watch Jurassic Park!!!)
“He was a BADDD bunny…”

:rotfl:

You missed my fave; Josh and the Big Wall.
“It’s plain to see that your brains are very small if you think walking will be knocking down our wall” 😛
I love those french peas!

I love veggie tales. My favorite is Jonah. Second is Queen Esther.

“In the belly of the whale” Jonah was a prophet, ooh ooh. :rotfl:

And we don’t have to be embarressed as adults to say we Love veggie tales. I will start. “Hi I am shari and I love Veggie Tales” 😛

So far, I love them all. But, I think Jonah, Little Joe, and the Toy that Saved Christmas are my favorites

Hey! No one mentioned the Song of the Cebu! How could anyone not mention the Song of Cebu? It is the bestus song ever.

I’m partial to Madame’ Blueberry – I think she embodies my kids’ problems the best – “She was a very grumpy berry …”

But my fav. silly song is Barbara Manatee 😉

(My kids are more fond of the Water Buffalo Song)

My favorite is Rack Shack and Benny but since it wasn’t on the list, I voted for Ester my second favorite.

I love the Dance of the Cucumber and The Manatee Song but my kids love the Song about Lips and The Pirates who Don’t do Anything?

👍

My favorite is “Silly Songs”. The favorite song is “God is bigger than the bogie man”. Of course I kinda like “where is my Hairbrush”. They all are great!

Veggie-Tales have become a entertainment staple at our house. We have them all.

Last night as I began my scripture reading, the Bible happened to open on Daniel chapter 3. The first vision I had was of King Nebuchadnezzar as a giant zucchini.

As for the poll, I couldn’t decide, so I let my daughter vote. She picked -Lil’ Joe

My kids have modified the words of the birthday song and have adapted it for use at all our birthdays.

My favorite V-T is the Fib from Other Space. My favorite “Silly-Song” is the cheeseburger song – You just can’t beat Mr. Lunt’s falsetto " you are his cheese-burg-errrr".

favorite segment is Who is my Neighbor, I love the song I’m Busy so Busy so Terribly busy. If I can figure our how to post a poll we obviously need one on favority Silly Song. Cheeseburger, of course. Runner-up, the new improved Bunny Song. I ate the bunny, ooh I ate the bunny. But I do have a problem with Bible studies now that I picture old testament figures as scallions.

Silly songs are really my favorite

“Say-boooo say-boooo say-bo moo moo say-boo moo moo say-bo moo moo moo moo”
