Favourite Mysteries of the Rosary?

What are your favourite mysteries? I find the sorrowful mysteries are what I naturally gravitate towards, because I can more readily visualize what is going on. I struggle a bit with the Glorious mysteries and it’s a bit harder to put the mysteries in my minds eye. Still haven’t got the hang of the Luminous mysteries, as I’m so used to the original fifteen, but I’m getting there.
 
Sorrowful, because where God demonstrates most clearly His love for us as well as showing us what love is-- the hard choice, doing for others as gift/sacrifice out of love.
 
The Luminous Mysteries are my favourite. Beautiful mysteries of light.

It’s not been a problem for me getting used to them, as I only became a Catholic last year. I can see that it might be difficult to get into the rhythm of it if you’ve had many years of praying the Rosary without them!

My mum taught me the rosary when I was quite young, so the traditional mysteries have sort of been ingrained in me for a long time. I do pray the Luminous mysteries, it just takes more use of helpful books or praying along to Mother Angelica on the telly!
 
I tend to pray the Sorrowful Mysteries when I need to get to confession, so I say them a lot :o. I guess I would say they are my favorite, or at least my go-to Mysteries. But I also follow the traditional days of the week with the Mysteries, so I like them all :).
 
I don’t really have a favourite, all three mysteries take you through the life of Christ.
 
My favourite individual Mystery is the fifth Luminous Mystery: the institution of the Eucharist. 🙂 The Luminous Mysteries are my favourite overall, as well.
 
My favorite mysteries are the sorrowful mysteries. It helps me to grow in my faith by meditating on the sorrowful mysteries, praying the passion, contemplating the salvation of souls. I don’t pray the luminous (the new innovations of the rosary which were not given to us by the Blessed Virgin)
 
Sorrowful Mysteries - I find no matter what I’m feeling or what is going on in my life, I can better connect to God’s word through the Sorrowful Mysteries.

I’m a new Catholic, but cannot get the hang of the Luminous Mysteries. They just feel a little bit empty to me.

Mine, too, as well as the carrying of the cross. I literally get excited once I reach the proclamation of the kingdom, since I know the Eucharist is near!

I typically pray for a deeper understanding of the mysteries, and have been particularly enjoying contemplating the wedding at Cana recently. I find the relationship between Mary and Jesus fascinating and revealing of Jesus’ disposition toward us through the sacraments. Every time I pray it, I come away with a profound sense of awe at how blessed we are to be Jesus’ siblings and Mary’s children. Mind officially blown! 🙂
