I do believe that Jesus is with us in our suffering. However, I also believe we don’t always feel His presence. A priest told me it is our fault because as human we are not perfect and will not always feel His presence.
I am of the opinion that sometimes we do not feel God because God’s way’s are not are ways and sometimes He pulls away and we will understand in the next life.
