I am feeling confused and frustrated I don’t know why I feel like crying . I have worked hard I try and make sure everybody is happy . I try to do what is best in gods eyes . I want to be loved . Don’t know what is missing . I pray to god and Mary asking for their help . So tired

Keep your head up. I feel this way often. I pray not for god to help me always but to give me a sign someway or somehow to follow a certain path.

‘O Divine Master,
grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled as to console;
to be understood, as to understand;
to be loved, as to love;
for it is in giving that we receive,
it is in pardoning that we are pardoned,
and it is in dying that we are born to Eternal Life.’ - Prayer of St Francis of Assisi

I felt this way for a long time until I found the Church, actually…the idea of either becoming a priest or monk or deacon actually gave me reason to live. Even just the idea of being in a church often, or praying the rosary a lot. I don’t know exactly what God’s plans for me are but I know I’m going to be as committed as I can be to him. I am going to live a very religious life one way or another…there’s many ways to do so 🙂

This is just what has worked for me, though. For some reason ever since the Church I’ve just been much happier in general. Never lose faith in God. Mysticism is also interesting and can be a path for the faithful, that maybe don’t want to be clergy or even monastics (monastics are quite mystical themselves I find but you don’t have to be monastic to be mystic). I say never lose faith because especially if you’re a Mystic it takes a long time before God talks, or a Saint or Mary or what have you…but there’s a science behind the mystical experience and it does take a long time…but it’s worthwhile, there’s something magical about being in sincere prayer or chanting for a long time.

Basically what I’m saying is that even if I lived a ‘normal’ life I’d have to try to be close to God somehow, every day…I find that’s where the happiness is. Honestly not just doing once every week or whatever…note I’m not criticizing anybody here but suggesting, maybe really putting God into more aspects of your life could improve your mental state.

I am so sorry…I have felt this way many times.

You are not alone.

You are loved.

You are God’s beloved child.
When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze. Is 43:2
Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. Matt 11:29
I pray you will be filled with the peace and comfort of the Holy Spirit today. 🙏❤️
