I just broke up with my fiance and now I found someone on okcupid he is 33 years old he is moving from Pennsylvania to Michigan and I like him very much the problem is that he won’t talk to me that much I try talking to him on okcupid and kik and Skype but he won’t respond he said we can be friends but he is not talking to me that much and that discourages me

Classic sign, he must be a married man with not much time to devote to another person.

To quote a something quotable…“He’s just not that in to you.”

No big deal…quit the communication and move on.
I did online dating about 7 years ago…I had that happen more then once, where a guy seemed interested but clearly wasn’t if he didn’t respond to my emails.

If he doesn’t respond…leave it, let it go and find someone else.

I’m very sorry you and your fiancé broke up…I’ll say some prayers.

Bases on what, exactly?
How in the world could you draw a conclusion that he is married?

That doesn’t make any sense at all.

Drop him, he’s a dud.

Dating sites seem strange to me, but try this one : catholicsingles.com/

Why don’t you start a Catholic Singles group in your area?

You know what? I have been on dating sites for years now. Perhaps you are new to the dating site world? You cannot get too attached to someone before you meet them. On online dating, people start talking to you, you get your hopes up that they like you and then they just vanish, or give you a phone number and you talk a few times but then they dont answer your calls or you meet, go out on one date and they do not seem to want to go out with you anymore after that.

It is part of the process. You are going to run into more people that are not interested in you romantically than ones that are. You need to be tougher about it. Very important that you move on. This guy does not seem very interested in you if he wont take the time to correspond with you. Move on. It has happened to me and you will get over it. Someone recommended catholicsingles.com I have been on that site and it is practically a dead zone. Not a lot of members. Catholicmatch.com is the biggest Catholic dating site. I have met several woman on that site. None, developed into a relationship, but one did become a good friendship where I am hoping that if this woman moves back to my state, that it could become more than a friendship like I hoped it would be before she moved so far away. See, things like that happen when you meet people on dating sites. You gotta be tough and learn to not let someone not interested in you be so discouraging. Try again. Take care and God bless.

Find a hobby. Don’t worry about these “buggers” you meet online. Maybe he isn’t a very nice person.

Sometimes it isn’t you, it’s him.

Move on. He’s probably not the one, and if he is, he’s not ready yet.

Other posters have covered the angle with this current man pretty well.

What I’d like to ask is - are you ready for online dating right now? It’s a world where there’s going to be a lot of misses, a lot of chatting that doesn’t lead to anything. And when you’re coming off the end of a relationship it’s very easy to get drawn into pinning your hopes on the next one, because you’re still sore from the breakup.

Normally I’d agree with you 100%.

However, seeing that my husband took up online dating and met me within a month or two after breaking up with his fiancé…I can’t totally jump on to this argument.

Normally, you are right…she probably should give it a little while…depending on the duration and seriousness of her relationship/engagement.
