Hello CAF family,

I’m having some issues with feeling like I’m unwanted. It seems like i’ve lost many friends after standing up what I believe in, and as a result, false rumors have started up about me here at my University. They have spread like wildfire, and people are believing them. Today I found out that a friend that I trusted was the one to start them, and though she apologized to me, I am still hurting. Please pray for me!

Blessed are the persecuted :gopray:

Pater noster, qui es in caelis, sanctificetur Nomen tuum. Adveniat regnum tuum. Fiat voluntas tua, sicut in caelo et in terra. Panem nostrum quotidianum da nobis hodie, et dimitte nobis debita nostra sicut et nos dimittimus debitoribus nostris. Et ne nos inducas in tentationem, sed libera nos a malo.

Ave Maria, gratia plena, Dominus tecum. Benedicta tu in mulieribus, et benedictus fructus ventris tui, Iesus. Sancta Maria, Mater Dei, ora pro nobis peccatoribus, nunc, et in hora mortis nostrae.

Gloria Patri, et Filio, et Spiritui Sancto. Sicut erat in principio, et nunc, et semper, et in saecula saeculorum.

Amen

No, you are not unwanted. God wants you to be assured of that above all else. Be not concerned with that which other think of you. Be wary of those who call themselves “friends” and pray for God to send real ones to you. He will.

People say and do things, often for the fact that they are usually jealous themselves of what they see you possess. These things are petty compared to what God has in store for you, but they will happen for reasons you do not realize or that seem unclear to you now. Persevere in Christ and you will see the reward that awaits all who are persecuted and defend Him, no matter what the cost. These are also very valuable lessons that you are learning now in your phase of life. They are necessary. Pray for the oppressors with truth and love.

When one is persecuted, they are a mirror of Christ and His suffering, and the negative things that happen to you should be offered up to Him. Dispel any negative thoughts against your tormentors, as these trials are, in reality, blessings. Recall these things (and much worse) happened to Him too. Rise above it and believe in your assured victory over those who oppress you. By doing this, you will have more valuable time to concentrate to do well in your studies. Go to confession and receive Holy Communion as often as you can. These will strengthen you abundantly. I will pray you remain steadfast.

These feelings will pass as things settle down. At least you will know who your real friends are. Nevertheless it is a terrible feeling to have and I sympathise… but it will pass.

I said some prayers for you, for your cause.

Feeling unwanted is a human feeling many of us go through, perserveer with your lord and he will bring you stronger than ever.

Hail Mary…
Our Father…

May God Bless you

Unite your suffering with that of Jesus. His disciples slept during His agony at the
garden of Gethsemane. Judas betrayed Him. Peter denied Him: THREE times. Yet.
Jesus founded His church on Peter. He was the Suffering Servent foretold in Isaiah.
You are in good company. Stay close to our Lord, and He will bring you through
this.

We could use some more prayers for CAF. 🙂

Praying for your intention …
