Feelings of nervousness and anxiety

I haven’t read all the replies, but have you had your new house blessed yet? That would be my first thought if I were having extra nervousness and anxiety. Jesus is the Prince of Peace. When we don’t feel peaceful, it’s often a bad sign 😦

Thank you for your reply–yes, I have thought of this. It has been years …since we have been in a new environment. I actually am starting to calm down a bit more…have met a few of my new neighbors. What’s neat in this town we have chosen, is there is a meet and greet newcomers ‘club’ and couples get together every other weekend for dinner, Pictionary at someone’s home…walks…beach trips…it sounds like something my husband and I are going to try. We also might attend a big event coming up in a few weeks at the church. My husband said we have to make the efforts to meet new people…they won’t come knocking on our door. lol

No they won’t, he is right 🙂 sounds like you do have some nice opportunities. I do know how you feel though. We moved from one neighborhood to another and it took a few years of adjusting. To be honest, I probably wasn’t completely comfortable for about the first three years.

I’m sure you won’t have any trouble fitting right in. I’ve seen your posts in here, you seem very friendly and light hearted 😃
