Female Saint of Perseverance?

Hello,

I am trying to find a Female Saint fo Perseverance. I am in the process of choosing a confirmation name and I was told when choosing, I should choose a Saint that I would like to follow in the course of my life. I have always had a tough life and still am, but everybody keeps telling me its going to get better, and when it starts to get better it just crashes. But somehow I still move on and persevere. But then sometimes I find it hard to do so. So I would like to find a Femail Saint who has had a similar life or something similar happen and want to find out how she persevered and made her life and other lives better. If someone can help me, it would be really great.

Originally, she wanted to be a nun. In obedience to her parents, she married. She married a cruel, abusive man, and had twin sons. Her husband was murdered, the sons died, and she had difficulty entering a convent.
