False “realism” is often used to justify things that are immoral. Right now in Ireland, people are trying to use it to introduce abortion. “Realistically, women travel for abortions, so we should make it legal here.”
Just because somoething is easy in the real world does not make it right. It takes it’s place with “arguments” such as “it’s the 21st Century”.
