My archdiocese is having an interfaith festival. Some of the activities are in the cathedral, some aren’t. There will be prayers & possibly more from many different religions. Is an interfaith festival okay? Links are provided below for a better look-see.

I don’t see anything wrong with it from the web site. It obviously isn’t a Catholic group because it would use the word eccumenical.

It’s a wonderful opportunity to bring faiths together to praise the Lord. It’s also okay. Pope John Paul tried very hard to briing the different faiths together and the Vatican continues to do so. I pray that it isn’t used to advertise for one faith or the other, it doesn’ look that way.

I’m curious to hear your impressions after the fact.

Thank you Jenlyn. I couldn’t tell if it is for unitarian or eccumenical purposes. It seems to be from the archbishop, so I’m sure it’ll be a good thing .
