Get it on every “myspace” site. “get the vote out” on FOCA. We MUST tell our leaders not to do this. To nothing is to be complicite. We have got to get off our asses and do something. I added my own words at the top. They’re more likely to read it that way. Officials often don’t pay much attention to mass mail campaigns because they think it’s easy to hit send and doesn’t represent much conviction, but if you write something they take it more seriously because you do.

You changed the title? I forget what I wrote…I was so excited I just started copy and pasting it on all the boards. Do you think I could get the moderators to sticky it???
 
I added a few longish paragraphs about the nature of abortion, how there is simply nothing that can be said to excuse it that wouldn’t also be applicable to every other evil deed anyone could commit and how it doesn’t protect women, it just saves money at the most and when a society legally places money above human life the choice of evil has been made. That kind of thing.
 
I did it, and forwarded it. I also changed the title and added an additional opening paragraph, so it doesn’t look as much like a form letter. 👍

I know it seems a little fruitless against the odds…but the cause is just and it is always better to fight for justice than do nothing. At least we can sleep at night knowing we did what we could. Especially those folks who are pro-life and voted for Obama. They owe the unborn at least a token of support.

It is soooooo cool your 7000th was on this topic. I am honored. heheh. Many blessing to you…oh and sorry about your senator:( , I hope he isnt replaced with Jesse Jackson Jr.! 😛

Hi neighbor. Durban and Obama are my senators. In my opinion Durban bears the greater sin (so far) than bo. Durbin claims to be Catholic. Isn’t that a hoot?

It’s the third one down under current legislation, SS 1173, Freedom of Choice Act.

I agree with this. Officials, and other power brokers, can spot canned letters and messages immediately. I have had the most responses from self-composed brief letters (not over one full 8x10 page with 12 pt type) printed on paper and mailed to the office. Screaming on paper by the use of ALL CAPS or immoderate language doesn’t impress.
 
I go to the page but the site itself is most confusing to me and difficult to Navigate.

Just where do I go so I can send this letter?
