Film documentary about Carthusian monks

A German film documentary about the lives of Carthusian monks in the French Alps has become a sleeper hit in Europe.

I saw a mention of that too.

It won’t be a cinema release in the UK except maybe at some arty festival somewhere.

However, we have BBC4. Hope they show it one day - they’ve shown a lot of obscure things. I would love to see this film.

it looks really interesting. i didn’t know that much about carthusians though so i looked em up. but i couldn’t find that much. i wanted to look at the convents, since i’m female, but as far as i could find they only have convents in europe, none in the US. Found that kind of odd. But I hope I can see it sometime.
