'THE PUBLIC" is about a group of homeless library patrons who refuse to leave the building during a polar vortex to avoid freezing to death. City hall, the news, and the police react.

Trailer released here:

Although starring Emilio Estevez, Michael K. Williams, and Alec Baldwin, it is an independent film, so you might not see any ads unless you share them yourself.

Film opens April 5, 2019.

So who’s going?

I’ve already seen The Day After Tomorrow which basically has the same plot.

I saw DOT too. Don’t remember Jake Gyllenhall being chased out of the library by 25 police in riot gear. 🤔

I won’t be seeing it. Unfortunately, many
public libraries don’t feel safe anymore because of this problem.
I won’t support Alec Baldwin anyway and,
secondly, the movie does not look that
appealing.

Alec Baldwin!!? America’s greatest living actor!??

After I watched the clip YouTube wanted me to watch “Joe Frazier’s Greatest Knockouts.” Now that’s more like it!

Not me. I’ve seen plenty of promotion for this film. That’s the local library.

I will watch.
But don’t intend on actually paying for it.
Hulu or Netflix will have it soon enough.

Emilio Estevez is back making movies again? Is this recent? I am out of the movie loop.

The subject matter sounds like the sort of thing his dad was always pushing. I don’t have a problem with it but don’t want to watch it for entertainment.
