I will mention King’s Row (1942). Parris (Robert Cummings), a doctor, comes back home to help his old friend Drake (Ronald Reagan) deal with the depression incurred due to an accident that cost him his legs. Randy (Ann Sheridan), another childhood friend, leaves the room and in thanks says Mary blessed Mother of God! three times.
If I remember correctly it just came out of nowhere as I don’t think there was any indication that any of the characters were Catholic. I could be wrong about that though. It’s been awhile since I last seen the film.
