so my dog has a form of bone cancer, after all the diagnostics,

there is not much that can be done as far as conventional treatment goes, the vet basically just gave me her condolences but I am hopeful. Macy is still in good spirits and I have been reading that changed in diet can greatly improve dogs with cancer, They don’t think she will last a month, but I am not giving up on her. Lord can work miracles

thanks for all your advice and prayers so far, if any of you have had a dog with cancer and tried something more natural, please let me know how it worked out for you.

God bless

Best to Macy and your self!

It’s not about dogs, but I’m currently reading one of Jane Plant’s books on cancer. She was given two months to live due to developing breast cancer. Jane changed her diet, eliminated milk and all milk products from what she consumed, and as a result her breast cancer disappeared. Don’t know if this idea will help with bone cancer, but it might be worth a try!

Praying again for you and your dear dog.
It might be the most loving thing for you to let your dog go.
I had a beloved cat with mouth cancer last year. I could not help her and after about 5 vet visits, I had to let her go. I miss her and think of her often. But it was the loving thing to do to let her go.

God bless

You are right not to give up on Macy! Pray for a miracle. Macy is fortunate to have such a good caretaker.

well, right now, her spirits are good, she is still happy to eat and walk and play.

a few people have said the same thing, but I will not put her to sleep while she is still energetic and wants to live. I know you didn’t say that, I just realized that I didn’t relaly mention what kind of condition she was in, besides the tumor on her head though, she is still her old self, if the condition gets worse, then obviously that would be different

I’ve been trying, I eliminated all carbohydrates from her diet and it’s made a pretty big difference. I’ve been reading up on different foods and supplements that are good for fighting cancer, so I will give it try, really can’t hurt at this point

Obviously there’s no need to rush to put her to sleep if she is still doing reasonably well. I am sure you and the vet would be able to see when/ if it becomes time.

You and the vet will know when and if it is the time. It is so very hard, I know from experience, but you’ll do what is right.

I had a dog with an agressive heart tumor. We gave her this, but I don’t know if he makes any formulas for bone cancer. Due to the maker having a heart attack, the one of our pill shipments was late, so the drug stopped working.

We then gave her Esiac Tea and Montana Yew. I am not sure the exact doses anymore, but we just contacted the companies and they gave us the doses for dogs. At this point, the tumor was twice the size of her heart, but the montana yew and esiac seemed to be holding the line. I think she could have made it out with what we were giving her, as I had a relative who have had success using these treatments for their cancer. Unfortunately, our dog threw a blood clot and died from stroke. PM me for more details.
