Sixth Fatima Family Holy Hour~Friday, October 13th
Candle-Lighting for Reparation ~ Marian Hymn ~ Fatima Reading & Prayer ~ Sorrowful Mysteries of the Holy Rosary ~ Litany of Our Lady of Fatima ~ Prayer for World Peace ~ Closing Hymn
Our Holy Hour will begin with a Candle-Lighting for Reparation to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. The candle will remain lit for the duration of the Holy Hour. Our Lady will see all our little lights from Heaven throughout the day, and know that there is love for her on earth…that we empathize with all her sorrows, especially for the outrages against the unborn. We will then sing a hymn and tell the story of the events on that particular day in the life of the three children, Lucia, Jacinta and Francisco. Prayers given to the children from on high will be said. We will then pray the Mysteries of the Rosary associated with that day of the week. Litany to follow, along with the Nomen Christi Apostolate Prayer for World Peace. We conclude with a closing hymn.
You may wish to print out the format after it is posted on the Holy Hour day, so everyone in your group may easily follow along (printable version will be available…or people can follow along on their phones). Also, please comment on our blog-tell us where you are from, your thoughts and prayer intentions. We will be celebrating the Holy Hour on the 13th of each month, from May to October. This is the day Our Lady appeared to the three children for six consecutive months in 1917, culminating with the great Miracle of the Sun, seen by thousands. Holy Hour can be performed any time during the day or any time at all! This is not a video or live chat. It is a format for you to perform, either in the home or in church with pastoral permission. Holy Hours will be posted on our blog by 9:00 AM US ET on the 13th of the month and comments will remain open for 24 hours.

What special gift can we give Our Lady to celebrate the final Centennial of the Miracle of the Sun on October 13th? Please meditate on this-what gift would you like to give? It could be something very simple, like placing flowers at her statue or something more elaborate. It could be a craft, a sacrifice, praying at an abortion clinic…anything you wish as long as its from the heart…and please share it with us in the comments!
