Happy All Saints Day! My heart is so full of gratitude right now. It is with great joy to be able to say that I went to my very first All Saints Day Mass tonight! The Mass was so reverent and beautiful. I cried I was so happy(even though I tried not too). I wholeheartedly believe that it was through the intercession of Saint Clare that I am coming home. My other favorites, St. Therese, St. Dymphna, St. Monica, Pope John Paul II, St. Thomas More, and St. Maximillian Kolbe also play a huge role in my life. It completely blows my mind that we have thousands of saints pray for us every day. Who are your favorite saints?

Thank you, God, for the tremendous sacrifices made by those who have gone before us.
Bless the memories of your saints, God.
May we learn how to walk wisely from their examples of faith, dedication, worship, and love.

On the Byzantine and Ukrainian Greek Catholic calendars, it’s the feast of Sts. Cosmas & Damian, Blessed Theodore Romzha, and Ven. Metropolitan Andrew Sheptytsky.

As for my favorite Saints, here goes:

Our Lady, St. Joseph, Sts. Joachim & Ann, Sts. Anthony & Aquilina, Sts. Basil & Benedict, St. Cecelia, St. Christopher, St. Ignatius of Loyola, St. John the Baptist, St. John Chrysostom, St. Josaphat; St. Marina, Sts. Michael, Gabriel & Raphael; St. Eleazar, St. Solomonia and her sons the Seven Holy Maccabees, my Guardian Angel… and ALL of the Angels & Saints!

I really like St. Damien of Molokai Hawaii. There’s a fabulous movie about him for free on amazon prime too - if you want to be edifies by his life give it a watch!
