First confession?

I am a Catholic convert and was just baptized this Easter. I need help with my confession. I know my sins were wiped clean when I was baptized. Can I confess my sins I committed before my baptism? Should I? I just feel like it’s right to confess my mortal sins I committed before baptism because they are still a burden for me.

All of your sins were forgiven at baptism. There is no need for you to confess any sins that happened prior to your baptism. However you are free to confess them if it helps you spiritually.
