Dear Brothers and Sisters,
From the beginning of Civid 19 and now experiencing the rioting in the streets, it has seemed to me that God is calling us to a deeper examination of our own interior. It certainly gave many of us time during the “stay at home” orders, to pray – but have we? We saw on the news in the last few days there terrible pictures of violence and division, – how many have prayed earnestly? Have we sought to repair i.e. to offer Reparation to God for our sins as well as the sins of others? Have we truly Repented of our sins and the sins of others?
The First Friday and First Saturday Devotions have diminished at many of our parishes. If you have forgotten, I’m posting two links that may help refresh your memory, or teach you if you were never taught anything about them:
For First Saturday Devotion, see: First Saturdays Devotion
For First Friday, see: First Friday Devotion
May the Heart of Jesus in the Most Blessed Sacrament, be praised adored and loved, with grateful affection at every moment in all the Tabenacles of the world, even to the end of time.
Immaculate Heart of Mary, my Queen and My Mother I am all Yours. Keep me Guard me as your property and possession. (short form of St. Louis de Montfort’s Total Consecration to Jesus through Mary)
PS For all those who are as yet unable to participate in public Masses, please offer your Spiritual Communions and little sacrifices with Great Love.
