Dear Brothers and Sisters,

As I look down the list of all earth’s sorrrows, I cannot help but think of the Pierced Heart of Jesus! He knows every human sorrow we endure, from our own sins as well as the sins of others and He has “emptied Himself” on the Cross that we might find in Him our refuge, our hope, our peace – all that we need.

He has loved us first, and yet has received so little in return. Let us offer Him all that is in our hearts and strive to console Him in His Mystical Body on earth. Let us offer reparation for all the sins which have caused Him and all our brothers and sisters so much pain. If we can unite ourselves with Him in Mass and Holy Communion today, that is a beautiful gift but if we are unable, then let us offer reparation with great love in doing all the little things that we need to do today, with as much attention and devotion as we can give.

In this Month of the Rosary, let us pray the Sorrowful Mysteries today and ponder all His Love, and Mary’s Love standing beneath His Cross.
Jesus, we trust in You!
Our Lady of Sorrows, pray for us.

Edited as I see you have changed it now to Friday 🙂
I did go to Mass this morning and got my confession done for the weekend on Thursday so I can avoid the very long First Saturday lines.

Dear Tis_Bearself,

Thanks for your reply and thanks for your Love of Jesus and Mary. First Fridays and First Saturdays are ways in which we can give them our love in special ways. Hopefully we give them our love everyday! 🙂 Sometimes. however, I think I need to do more to repair for my past indifference, or to make amends for all the sins of mankind in general.
