First Spiritan Brother to be Ordained in Ireland in 17 Years

The Irish Times reported that Samson Mann will be the first Spiritan ordained to the priesthood in Ireland in 17 years.

The Spiritan site doesn’t elaborate, but does mention that the event will happen tomorrow, Sunday, July 1.

Last February, I had the pleasure of visiting the Spiritan Minor Seminary in Arusha, Tanzania. I was there visiting a few of the Irish Pallotines there ( who leverage that seminary as well).

They are doing fantastic work, and I am happy to see an Irish priest added to their number.
